  1. Establish a voice for your company that aligns with your brand mission. This voice should be apparent in all aspects of your company: written material, visuals, all website material, and photographs.

 

  1. Come up with a tagline. Write a captivating, meaningful, attractive statement that expresses your brand purpose effectively.

 

  1. You’re halfway there! Understanding the basics of branding will only take another 1.5 minutes!

 

  1. Be consistent. Design templates and enforce standards for your marketing materials. Always use the same logo and color scheme.

 

  1. Be authentic in your communication. Your customers won’t care for your products or services, or even refer you or write positive reviews unless you are authentic in the way you communicate your brand purpose. They are coming to you for a reason. You have set the standard. Don’t fall short.
